Addicted to Wet n’ Wild Idol Eyes Creme Shadow Pencil

I picked up quite a few bargains during my stay in the US at Christmas (haul video part one will be up this evening on my YouTube channel). Quite a few of your recommended that I pick up an Idol Eyes Creme Shadow Pencil from Wet n Wild. You were right, I completely needed this one :)

I chose number 134, Distress. It’s in inaccurate to use the word ‘chose’ since I didn’t have a whole lot to choose from. There were only two shades available in the Walgreens closest to my hotel. However, I was delighted to see that they were reduced to $2, woo hoo!

It’s a gorgeous dark blue shade which might bot be everyone’s cup of tea but at the moment, it’s mine. It has a gorgeous rich finish

Here come the swatches…

I have been wearing it as either an eyeshadow base or along my lash line, winged out a little with a bone coloured shadow on my lid (Face of the Day Post coming this afternoon at about 4pm).

This pencil is creamy, easy to apply and blend. The only downside for me is that it doesn’t set very well and is likely to smudge if you wear it on a bare lid.I have been using Paintery Paintpot as a base to help it stick. Last week I patted some Deep Truth over the top and it looked absolutely gorgeous.

I wish that Walgreens had have had more options, it would have been nice to try some more.

Have you tried these? What shades do you recommend?
