I picked up Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquer in Clay-ton, My Hero, which is number 230. It’s a taupe shade with gold pearl running through it. I’ve taken a few images to show the the difference the light makes to this polishes appearance.
Sometimes it looks grey, other times you can see the gold running through and the polish appears on the beige scale.
There’s no point if faffing around, I love it! End of.
It’s creamy but fluid, two coats is perfect. One coat isn’t enough and it isn’t a nice colour at this stage. It goes with every outfit, it’s chic and works with most skin-tones thanks to its’ taupeness with an undercurrent of gold pearl.
I bought my bottle from my local pharmacy for €2.99. Bargain! The bottle has 10ml of product.
I applied a clear top coat over this polish and it didn’t chip for 3 days. I love the colour, love the formulation, love the price, just love full stop!
There was a gorgeous jade green and navy that I wanted from this range too but unfortunately they were out of stock. I shall be returning! Do you recommend any Catrice shades?

lol i just bought this polish today and now i read through your blog and see this. i couldn’t walk past it because of the name and am wearing it on my ring-finger (the others have got chanel paradoxal on) and i love it. so very unique!
I highly recommend a similar Catrice shade, From Dusk Til Dawn, it’s so glossy and lovely! Catrice rule :)
I bought a few catrice products recently. I really do like their lipsticks. The one in “beige nude” is just like creme d’nude. I was thinking about trying the nail polishes, but most have a pearl to them and I am more of a cream finish only girl. But this does look really nice, maybe I’ll give it a try. I thought that colour “Sold out forever” is very interesting too.

It like had dupes for SOOOO many products , Have only tried 3 or 4 polish’s but will defo be buying more , Where else sells catrice ,as i only no the one in pennys in mary street , and sometimes i cant go to town check it out xxxAsh
I find that many Dunnes sell them too. My local one in Liffey Valley does.

Well i got Londons Weather Forecast, which looks a kinda blue/grey colour and lucky in lilac in my local chemist today for 2.75 each. Cant wait to try they out, they look pretty in the bottle :D and good value too.

I was just going to splash out on a GOSH varnish that looks really similar to this shade-this is fab. Think I’ll save my money and go for this instead, Might even pick up a second nail varnish-Thanks Amy ;-)
I love the from dawn til dusk one and im wearing another muddy brown colour today from no.7 which chips alot called Beanie but sure I bought so I must use it up (this months POA anyway)
