ah yes thats the girl on youtube. gemsmaquilage . cos ive been using my regular herbal essences i love the new ones they smell so good. especially the blue one (hello hydration) as it smells of coconuts :-)

Hi Amy, thought i’d give ya a little update on the co-washing. I know its only been a wk, but i cracked yesterday i had to use some shampoo for its foamyness :-) im going to keep going for another wk, as im finding it to be a little heavy on my hair, even though my hair is kinda medium to thick i guess. its not as prone to frizz so much. but il see how i go, i might just do it as a once a wk treat for my hair, or maybe switch to a lighter conditioner. :-)
@lorraine Thanks for the update, I’ve been considering it this week :) I watched gemsmaquilage’s video on co-washing, she suggested a very light conditioner for fine/flyaway hair so the hair doesn’t get weighed down.

yes today is my first day trying it and i like the results, it feels that i have washed with shampoo. because im a blonde myself i find the ends get dried out which is annoying. i found out about it on you tube yesterday and thought this looks interesting. il give it ago for a week or more. anything to get the ends of my hair stronger really. am tired of the breakages! :-)

have you ever heard of co-washing, apparently its conditioner washing, basically means instead of shampoo you wash your hair with just conditioner no shampoo. supposedly its meant to help nourish and strengthen your hair. Any thoughts on this???

@Lorraine I haven’t heard of that! I’m intrigued. I will mention this to my dad and get his thoughts. He’s obsessed with using oils instead of cleansers on hair so I think he’ll be interested to hear about co-washing. Have you tried it? A while ago my dad went on a mission to see how well the scalps oils cleansed the hair without shampoo. Interesting!

[..YouTube..] I so love the red hair, normally my hair is always some shade of red. Although I wanted to do something new for the new year and recently dyed it brunette (it still has red undertones). I surely will be going red again though. Red hair is awesome, if done right, but it does wear out quickly. Very pretty.
