As you know, I am addicted to trying foundations. I am asked a lot about cheaper brands and affordable products so I am on a mission to find us the best one. I picked up Bourjois and 17 Even Better foundation in Boots a few weeks and decided to road test them for you and do a little comparison. Turns out one of them is great. Here’s the video:

[..YouTube..] I had that bourjois foundation and I hated it I totally agree with what you said it was very cakey and oragne on me.My favourite drugstore foundation is revlon colourstay. My favourite high end foundation is Nars sheer matte.

It’s kinda hard to go by recommendations though. Everyone has different skin.

[..YouTube..] Really great video :) I love the way that you review products that aren’t the most expensive one’s out there. I mean, i know MAC is brilliant (i’ve tried it) but its great to see some videos about drugstore products, as in a lot of cases they are just as good, if not better, than expensive brands. I am currently loving Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation; it looks natural, gives great coverage and is easy to apply. I’d definetley reccomend it. Keep the drugstore products coming! Thanks! :D

[..YouTube..] @ThePixieBelle I’m delighted your skin has improved! :) My skin is dry, sensitive and spot prone at the moment too. I have stopped my usual skin care regime and have switched to using all about carrots cleanser and a moisturiser I made myself, without any harsh chemicals x

[..YouTube..] hello, after seeing one of your other videos, and hearing that you are allergic to some Mac foundation- i decided to ditch mine (i have been getting A LOT of really bad spots) using various Mac foundations, but hadn’t thought i would be allergic, as every1 loves mac!! however i am so pleased to say my skin has been so much better since doing so!! THANKYOU SO MUCH!! Although still on the dry side-any recommendations for sensitive dry/ spot prone skin would be gratefully recieved!

[..YouTube..] I feel like such a snob. I have NEVER used a drugstore foundation! I started when I was like 16 with Clinique Almost Makeup, moved to the Even Better Makeup and now I wear MAC Studio Fix Fluid.
[..YouTube..] I use Loreal True Match in Golden Beige its such a nice colour and really natural and has lasted me ages…worth buying..iv’e used Mac,Rimmel,Bobbi Brown but none of them are as nice they seem to thick esp. the Mac Studio Fix one it ruined my skin…!! i heard somewhere that georgio armani and loreal are made by the same manufacture and georgio armain is amazing such a choice of colours but loreal true match is d exact same and far cheaper..!! btw im from Ireland to lol x

[..YouTube..] Bourjois makes terrible foundations, for sure, but I LOVE their LIPGLOSSES! Their lipglosses are AMAZING and have great pigmentation! :o)))

[..YouTube..] yeah wanted to try it but its true. Bourjois is expensive for the amound you get. I have the concealer and you get so little.
[..YouTube..] @cazzilla The vitalumiere is quite sheer. I use it on clients who have great skin that don’t need much coverage. I love pro-lumiere :)

[..YouTube..] maybellene dream matte mousse and maybellene dream creamy foundation are my favourites, however i bought some foundation from avon and realised it had a brush on the end. it always got clogged up with product even when i cleaned the brush.thank you for the reviews :) i’ll be trying the number 17 one in the future x
