You may already know this about me, but I tend to go through phases of things in my life. This applies to make-up too. I am extremely fickle when it comes to make-up and beauty products.
I find myself using the same products every day for a few weeks, then I get bored and move on to something else. At the moment I have a particular cheek routine. I have found myself using a combination of 3 products every day for the past 3 weeks. That’s a little longer than my usual fads so I decided it warranted sharing with you.
I love the effect slight contouring has on my face and my current contouring product is Benefit Hoola. I like that it’s not shimmery or glittery. I like contour products to be matte. The colour is quite intense and needs to be blended will with a good kabooki or blush/bronzer brush. I have applying mine with the angled MAC Cheek brush.
For highlight I have been using my only MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Perfect Topping. I adore this product and I suspect it might be a long lasting love affair. It lifts my complexion and makes me wonder do I really need another MSF. Do I?
As a blush my favourite at the moment is MAC’s Peechykeen. This looks rather scary in the pan but it looks amazing on skin with warm undertones. I haven’t veered away from this blush for 3 weeks, despite buying myself a new one!
I’m happy enough to continue with this routine as I like the subtle glow and fresh look it gives my skin. I wonder what my next fad will be!
