E.l.f Nail Polish in Party Purple

Today’s nail polish of choice is e.l.f  Party Purple. I had never tried e.l.f nail polishes and to be honest they are so cheap that I wasn’t expecting much. I’m pleasantly surprised!

Here is a little look at what it looks like on my nails. Please excuse the messy application :)

I applied two coats before I took the above photos. It went on easily without chunks or over-sheerness. the consistency is quite impressive, especially when you factor in the price.

It’s a rich deep purple with shimmery particles, which you can pretty much see for yourself.

I like!

This is an absolute bargain at  €1.70 / £1.50 per bottle. I am eyeing up Metal Madness for a future purchase. It looks gorgeous!

What do you think? Have you tried elf polishes?

    Hi amy,

I got these nail appilques in pennys, think they were like €4 or something cheap like that! theyre called incoco dry nail applique’s and are colour enamel strips.

they come in different colours, but i got the silver sparkley ones…just to feel kinda chrismas-y/ disco-esgue! ha ha

but i really like them, would be great for a night out,

thought u might be interested in these…..and maybe give them a review…i’d like to know what u think!!

I have six bottles of their nail varnishes, in various colours, , I love most of them but they’re terrible for chipping. I think its worth a reapplication, at that pice though.

I like elf polishes, they’re not amazing, but definitely worth it for the price! so cheap! xx

The price makes me want to order lots of them, I need to control myself :) x

    PRETTY :)

How long does it stay on your nails? :-)

    • Amy

It stayed on mine 2 days, on the third day there was some mild wear and tear but no chipping. In the end I wore it for 5 days (but I prob should have removed it after 3) :)

I have recently bought the navy polish and one from the christmas range called twinkle, which I layer over a colour for some christmas sparkle! For the price these polishes are a bargain, the colours are great. The only downside is they don’t last that long before they start to chip! But for £1.50, who can really complain?

    • Amy

Ah no, I hate to hear that the other shades chip :( Mine lasted quite well, maybe I will pass on the rest. But your right, it’s too cheap to complain ha ha

Metal Madness is really nice. Definitely worth the price. Party Purple is lovely, I haven’t worn it yet but I tested it out and liked the colour. The Christmas ones seem to be better quality than some of the other colours. E.L.F. are a little hit and miss but for 1.70 it’s worth a try.

Thanks for letting me know that they’re hit and miss Claire! :)
