Essence Vintage District Collection – Swatches & Pics

essence2

We all love cheap and cheerful now and again. Essence and Catrice are two brands I reach for when I fancy a pharmacy/drugstore spree. I have a few items to show you from Essence’s Vintage District collection.

Eyeshadows €2.49
There are three pigmented eyeshadows in the collection. They’re smooth and very easy to blend. I tend to shy away from colour so the grey shade is my favourite. The speckled look fades as you brush. The shades available are 01 I’m so retro, 02 shopping @ portobello road and 03 get arty.

Gel eyeliner set €3.09
There are two in the collection -turquoise and grey. It’s a gel-cream texture which makes it very easy to apply. I quite like the brush that comes in the box. The liner itself is quite pigmented. I have used it as an eyeshadow base for the the turquoise eyeshadow too. I think I’ll pick up the grey one too.

Nail art decoration kit €3.09

There are two versions of the nail art decoration kit with a collection of glitter, flakes and pearls. It makes me wish I had some sort of talent for nail art. Available in 01 something g-old – something new and 02 designer for a day.
