Everyone has a staple shadow. The one you use almost every day and throw in your make-up bag. Mine changes every couple of weeks. When I find a staple I tend to use it everyday in some way or another. My current staple is Nars Lola Lola.
I bought this shadow online last year on Lollipop26′s recommendation. I loved it as soon as I opened the box but I had used it quite infrequently. Lately I have fallen back in love with it. It’s described as a neutral brown with shimmer. It’s warm toned and really accentuates blue and green eyes.
It doesn’t crease, it’s richly pigmented,very easy to blend and has a velvety feel. It also works with so many other shades. I use it mainly as a crease colour. Occasionally I smudge some under my eye if I’m wearing non-neutral eyeshadow on my lid. Some days I even use it as eyeliner.
I just love it!

My staple is satin taupe! So versatile! I use it for both daytime/work and smoked up for night time. That and Femme Fi e/s which is running out it was LE! I’m desperate for a replacement!
my staple eyeshadow is the beige one and light brown one of the clinique teddy bear eyeshadow quad :) I use it most of the time, especially when I am not sure what colour to wear :) xoxo
A good dupe for this would be a single satin e/s by Revlon called Shimmering Sienna. It happens to me my staple at the moment, and judging from this picture they look a lot alike!

I love star violet by Mac its a great purple with gold metallic undertones, it looks great on my brown eyes.

My eyeshadow staple is all that glitters from MAC. I use it as an allover colour on my lids for work.

I love MAC’s Wedge. It’s a matte and probably the world’s most boring shade, but I think that is what makes it such a staple. I mainly use it as a crease colour, to blend out a darker shadow or under my lower lash-line.
