Honey I Washed the Kids scented shower gel – It’s Raining Men

For those of you who are new to Lush, Honey I Washed the Kids is one of their most popular fragrances. The soap is  often featured on beauty blogs and YouTube beauty videos. I was delighted to hear that Lush have launched a shower gel using the fragrance, named It’s Raining Men. It is part of their Valentine’s Day collection.

It smells of honey. It’s almost good enough to eat – maybe that’s because it reminds me of creme brulee :)

I like Lush shower gels in general, Grass and Glogg are particular favourites of mine. They don’t irritate my skin, which is dry and sensitive at the moment. It doesn’t flare up my kp (bumps at the backs of your arms). Most of all I like the luxury of the scents they offer, makes a shower feel like a treat.

If you’re wondering about prices, It’s Raining Men costs €5.45 for 110g / €10.25 for 260g / €18.25 for 510g.

What’s your favourite Lush shower gel? Any recommendations for me?

I seemed to have overlooked this one a few weeks ago…i think ive at least a years supply of LUSH products. Got lots of LUSH christmas sets in the sales. Glogg was in there, ive not used it…but I dont think it will be a fav of mine. The Olive Branch is my fav. I picked up Magic Mushroom, and the Prince Charming bath bombs recently (valentines collection). In Dublin I bought Full of Grace face serum and i have to say it is the best product ive ever tried.I leave it on overnight and the next morning my skin looks wonderful.

Wow. In Germany the 500 ml costs 27,95 Eur. But it is lovely though. I even used it as a shampoo. Very pleasant.

You just made my day! There is a Lush across the street from where i work, so I’ve seen the posters for It’s Raining Men, but I never dreamed it would smell like Honey I Washed the Kids! Going there tomorrow! Thanks Amy, for once again being the bearer of good news! Have a great weekend!

I got Glogg at Christmas and now everytime I use it to reminds me of Christmas! :D It really is a beautiful scent and a great shower gel as it doesn’t irritate my skin at all either! I will have to give It’s Raining Men a try! :)

Oooh I’m going to have to try this one out; Lush shower gels are wonderful. I love Flying Fox shower gel, although I’m not sure why. When I first got it, I thought it smelt of mothballs, but for some reason, in the shower it is amazing. It is very heavily jasmine scented (which I would imagine many would not like), but for some reason I love it.

I was excited to see this blog entry come up – I bought It’s Raining Men yesterday! Absolutely love the smell, and am already debating if I should stock up on more…

I bought Snow Fairy at Christmas and wasn’t as blown away by it as I thought I would be, as loads of people love it. I haven’t tried many of the other shower gels, but The Olive Branch is a favourite. Lovely smell, and moisturising too. I bought Flying Fox because I love the temple balm, but I find the jasmine in the shower gel waaaay too overpowering.

I’m not a huge fan of snow fairy either. I need to try Olive Branch now :)

Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally, a shower gel. I love the soap, but I am more of a shower gel/cream kinda girl. And I havent found many shower gels I like at Lush, with exception to the Snowcake, which was LE and long gone. :(

I really wanna smell this! Thanks

I feel the same about lush soap versus their shower gels. The gels are far less drying
