Lush ‘Day of the Dead’ Collection

Lush have some new goodies ready for Halloween, or ‘Day of the Dead’ rather since they are going with a Mexican theme this year… hence the bright colours.

Lady Catrina Soap

Lady Catrina is an insanely bright hat shaped soap. It smells quite zesty and uplifting. It costs €3.80 for 100g.

There are also 3 shower jellies in the ‘Day of the Dead’ collection which cost €3.80. They are called ‘Calacas Shower Jelllies‘ (I’m told ‘calacas’ in the Spanish word for skeleton).

Calacas Shower Jellies – Orange

Calacas Shower Jellies – Yellow

Calacas Shower Jellies – Green

Lastly there is Calavera Bath Ballistic….

Calavera Bath Ballistic

This one appeals to me most. Lush say it explodes with vibrant colour and dances around your bath. Sounds fun! Scent wise, they use a blend of Lime Oil and Mexican Marigold Petals.

This collection is definitely different, not at all what one expects for Halloween!

What do you think?

Hmm not too intrigued at the look of these if I’m honest. I think the shower jellys look a bit like Darth Vadar hehe I’ve only ever tried one of Lush’s bath products before, and it was ok. I love their shampoos and conditioners though :)
