Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Collection – Review & Pics

I won’t lie to you, I just about skipped with delight when Charlotte Tilburry’s makeup range arrived at their new stand in Brown Thomas. I mashed myself in between all the bodies trying to get a nosy at the beauteous products I had heard so much about. I got the chance to join some other beauty bloggers and really explore the brand. I am in love!

The counter is laid out in a way that you can see each of Charlotte’s 10 signature looks. You may have seem the adds around town and such but essentially the same model is used to create each look, the differences are amazing. I myself went for The Golden Goddess which suits my colouring perfectly. The Bombshell and the Uptown girl really called to me too. Anyways, on to the deliciousness…

Filmstar Bronze & Glow | Face Sculpt & Highlight €65 /£49

Oh. Sweet. Holy. Moly. This is the most beautiful palette I have ever seen! Forget about the product itself for a minute, the packaging is divine. The elegance, the opulence, the glamour!

Luxury Palette | Colour-Coded Eye Shadows €50/£38

These quads are colour coded eye palettes. They are designed to take the guess work out of application with application tips. Each palette contains a prime shade, enhance, smoke and pop. Each shade offers a different texture for layering and creating different affects. Charlottes idea is that each palette works from Desk-Dusk-Disco, all you have to do is dial up your look. They are so easy so apply and blend. A good fluffy brush is a necessity for blending.

K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen From the Lipstick Tree €30/£23

Charlotte’s lipsticks are a dream. There are ten in the collection, a capsule collection, with everything from a classy nude to runway red. I have been loving this beige nude Nude Kate its elegant and wearable. No hint of the dreaded concealer lips! I have to mention the packaging. The gold tube has an air of old-time glamor. It feels sturdy and looks expensive. It’s a lipper you would be proud to take out of your makeup bag.

Rock ‘N’ Kohl €25/£19 Liquid Eye Pencil

Yes this is a pencil but it glides on like liquid with great accuracy. It’s so richly pigmented. I’m tough on black eye liners, there are very few that work for me. This one is heaven! I also read that it stimulates collagen production which will help with anti-ageing  over time. The idea is to even the creases on the lid which leads to smoother application. This is a bit of a tall order but I do live in hope. I’ll keep you posted. This guy is waterproof and lasts up to 14 hours too.

Oh holy heaven! I can’t get enough of Charlotte!

What do you guys think of the brand?
