Usually I’m a little put off by products like this one, the ‘everything in one box’ sort of product. From previous experience the standard of such boxes are usually quite poor. I was a little surprised to come across one that I actually enjoyed using. It is by Pixi and this particular one is in Stockholm No2.
The eyeshadows are soft and have a soft shimmer (no glitter). The shades are very wearable. They’re not amazingly pigmented but would suit someone who likes a softer look. I wore the eyeshadows and blush from this box today and got a few compliments.
And some swatches…
I quite like the blushes. One is powder and the other in cream. The cream adds a pretty dewy glow with a little colour. The powder reminds me of MAC Style a little. To come to think of it it also reminds me of Benefit Coralista. A little looks really pretty, a lot looks like wind burn.
And the lip glosses…
At first glance I thought I would never wear the first shade in a million years. But after swatching it I realised that it’s quite wearable. The goldy peach shade is pretty but standard.
The first two in this picture are glosses, the third in the cream blush and the last is the powder. This would be a great product was for those starting out with makeup. I find it a handy handbag item, all in one.
