During my last facial at Therapie it was recommended that I try Murad Hydro-Dynamic® Ultimate Moisture for eyes. Seeing as I have becomes a little paranoid about preventing signs of ageing around my eyes I was only too happy to try it out.
I have definitely started showing the first signs of ageing around my eyes so now is the time to act. Actually a few years back might have been better, ah well. I’m diligent when it comes to skincare. I’m not one of those people who spends money on products only to forget to use them as directed. Oh no, I do skincare military style. What good are fancy, high-tech products if they’re sitting on a shelf?!
First, a little bit of info about this eye cream:
It is said to be a very hydrating cream instantly firms and awakens the delicate eye area while maintaining optimal moisture levels for up to 8 hours. It contains…
- Collagen Support Complex and Hyaluronic Acid – Boosts skins resilience while smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Peptide Blend – Increases elastin production to firm and awaken the delicate skin around the eyes.
- Osmolyte Technology – A key ingredient to maintain optimal hydration, keeping eyes looking youthful and bright.
How I use it:
I apply every day after cleansing (more on cleansers later). It recommends that you use your recommended Murad treatment before applying the cream too but I don’t have one to I go straight to eye care. I gently pat the eye cream around the eye, along the edge of the bone that outlines the eye socket. Then I follow with my Murad Perfecting Day Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (review to follow).
It’s fantastic, right from the first application. The skin around my eye immediately perks up and feel refreshed and firm as soon as I pat it on. I also have sensitive eyes and I wear contacts but I haven’t experienced any irritation. It’s not greasy or oily so it won’t make your makeup slide. The cream absorbs quickly so you can go straight to the next stage of your skincare regime.
I have been using it for 4 weeks now, twice daily and I would say there has been an improvement in the fine lines around my eyes. Would I repurchase? Absolutely. I should point out that the tub looks much bigger than the 15ml of product inside but in past month I have only used the product that has made its way onto the underside of the lid. I haven’t touched the cream in the pot yet so it will last ages. Priced at €69 / £57.00 it doesn’t come cheap but I don’t mind spending money of products that actually work. I have been using some other Murad products that are well worth a try, I’ll keep the reviews coming.
