Celebrity Makeup of the week: Sienna Miller

20

I have always admired Sienna Miller’s style but I have never really noticed her makeup…til now. I saw this picture of her at the Met Gala with a nice bit of arm candy, Jude Law (despite his shenanigans Sienna, I approve wholeheartedly) haha

Her make-up is reminiscent of Bridget Bardot. I had to know what products the artist used to create this look. I will also list substitutes  that will work just as well.

Lips: Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in Mythic. MAC Creme de Nude is a good alternative or Boots Natural Collection Rose Petal (or Sorbet). Basically a nude lipstick with pink tones that is not lighter than your skintone.

Eyes: Chanel Intense Eye Pencil in Marine was drawn heavily on upper lash line. For eyeshadow, Chanel Quadra in Bleu Celeste was used, applying the navy heavily along the lash line and blending up slightly. Recreate the Bardot eye by applying the shadow in an oval shape. Keep the eyes inky. MAC Naval is a good matte substitute or Contrast if you fancy a bit of a sheen.

Cheeks: Chanel Powder Blush in Joues Contraste Mirage (Rose Bronze in the US) on the apples of the cheeks. Chanel Bronze Universal under cheekbones and temples. You could substitute with Bourjois Rose de Jaspe.

False lashes and some highlighter on the cheekbones and forehead appear to finish the look. The downside it that we need the mother of all tans as a base. Unfortunately many of us mere mortals can’t just pop off the St Moritz to top up our tan. However, we can slather it on from the bottle!

I wish I was as tanned as Sienna I am so pale right now, I love her make up in these photos; this is not something that I would be brave enough to wear though! I am personally not really a huge fan of Chanel make up I prefer Nars.

Aye, married with children and another on the way. I agree both parties in an affair are guilty, but I always find it hard to understand when a woman like Sienna who knows the pain of being cheated on herself then goes on to do it to another woman. So much for the sisterhood. Anyways, no witch hunt, shes a pretty girl. I wish her well

@Arlene didn’t mean you with the witch hunt haha just mean people in general :) Agree with you, sisterhood is long dead. I need to keep up to date on my celebrity gossip, I’m lost – I didn’t know she cheated with Jude on his wife and who cheated on her? Mother of god, celebrities! :) x

Sienna’s hair and make-up was just stunning, and probably the best I have ever seen her look. If I had blonde hair and baby blues like hers I would be using these products too.
I think her dress was beautiful, but was a little overpowered by the shoes. They wouldn’t of been my choice.
Can I just point out that a woman cannot be solely blamed for the destruction of a marriage! If my husband cheated I would most certainly be annoyed with the woman, but I would lay the blame completely with him. Right,I will get off my soap box now!!

    • Amy says:

@Lyndsey I agree. People love a good witch hunt. At the end of the day I like her make-up, whatever she does in her private life is her own business :) x

Thanks so much for this, Amy! I was wondering about her makeup just the other day! So funny you should write a post soon after. This helped a lot! :)
    Greetings from Canada :) xo

I hate the way the woman always bears the brunt of abuse even though SHE isn’t the one who cheated. when her man slept with the nanny – him in the wrong. when she got together with a married man – again, his fault, she has no responsibility to his family).

Anyways, always loved her style, hair and makeup. Thank for the tips amy… i do like this look particularly.

    • Amy says:

@Clo Didn’t realise he was still married at the time, oops. Either way tis’ their business and I don’t judge. Pretty makeup is pretty makeup :)
