I decided to give Sally Hansen Polish Strips a go this week. I opted for ‘Misbehaved’.
The box comes with a cuticle stick and mini file/buffer, which is really handy.
The application itself was pretty straightforward – easier than applying ordinary polish for me, since I’m pants at it. All I did was push back my cuticles, peel the strip, stick it on the nail and file the excess off (it comes off very easily).
And the results…
I can’t decide how I feel about patterned nails. I’m still on the fence.
I tried some Rebel Nails strips for toes last week and I have to say that the Sally Hansen version are easier to apply. The tabs mean that the strips don’t get stuck to your finger.
The box states that the strips will last up to 10 days. This may be a little ambitious. Each box costs around €8 so I would hope that they would last. This is day 5 and so far, they’re holding up well. My hands are in water pretty often and I have also been moisturising like a mad woman. So far, no interference. I’ll keep you updated.
All in all, surprising – in a good way.
