Top Hair Care Buys of 2009

37

I bought quite a few hair products this year. To be honest quite a few is a  bit of an understatement. Like most girls I’m on a quest for hair perfection. I chose the best of the bunch and talk about them in this video. These are the only hair products that I would rebuy. As for the rest, what a waste!

[..YouTube..] My favorite hair care products currently are Korres Sunflower shampoo (I have sensitive dry scalp and it’s worked wonderfully for me), Neutrogena leave-in/heat safe conditioner, and Victoria Secret So Sexy shine serum (I put this on hair ends only; love the scent). I’ve also started using Trichomania solid shampoo from Lush and love that it tames my hair pretty well. Biolage products are great too but maybe not the best for my sensitive scalp.

  2. [..YouTube..] David Babii haircare has no parabens or sls in it. Michelle1218 adores it and i recently bought it and it is amazing. I bought mine on amazon xx

[..YouTube..] Try shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioning treatment by Joico K-PAK. It is AMAZING! Also, anything by CHI. I buy all this stuff at Ulta so I don’t know if they are available in Ireland.

[..YouTube..] Have you tried using Honey or coconut oil as a hair mask? They’re what I use rather than chemical hair products (I dont use any generic products on my hair or body) and they work the same for me, and might mean you wont have to wash your hair separately either :)

  10. fraiseee28 says:

[..YouTube..] try the Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream! I’m gonna try the john masters sea mist that you recommended =)))

  11. [..YouTube..] have you tried mac’s mineralize satinfinish SPF 15 fluid foundation? if so, what do you think of it?

  12. [..YouTube..] Hi, what yousaid in the beginning about no chemicals on your skin & washing your hair seperatly…bumps on your arms, is this an indication of me needing to start doing the same as I have those and hate them!

  13. [..YouTube..] I cannot live without Aveda Brilliant Damage Control spray. I put it on after I shower when my hair is still wet and it protects it from the heat of the blowdryer and straightener and leaves my hair with the most gorgeous shine! Give it a try! (I don’t know whether Aveda products are available in Ireland or not but it’s a great, natural-focused company well worth trying out.)

  19. [..YouTube..] I’ve got really fine/frizzy/wavy hair and there’s a serum which I adore. It’s FEKKAI’s FINISHING POLISH.
100 times better than John Frieda’s Anti-frizz serum.

[..YouTube..] That is such a smart and good idea [showering separately from washing your hair] My skin has become very sensitive lately, so I think I’ll definitely trying that.

[..YouTube..] Great vid and good picks. I’ve just recently tried Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo from Lush. I know you are not a big Lush fan and I’m not really (for the body soaps anyway) but this shampoo transforms my hair. It has got one sulphate in (not SLS though so I’m happy about that) but all the other ingredients are natural. Also I really love Shockwaves Volumising and Heat Defence mouse, it volumises and makes my hair soft and easy to style (no stickiness too).

  31. [..YouTube..] I think that all lee stafford and tigi are amazing!!!
