Yes to Carrots Anti-Ageing Range – Yes to Blueberries & Recommendations needed…

You know by know that I’m a fan of the Yes to Carrots cleanser (click here to see said undying love). I was thinking about buying some products form the Yes to Tomatoes range which is for combination skin and the Yes to Cucumber cleanser range also appeals to be as I have sensitive skin at the moment. Any recommendations you have would be well received, you know best :)

Whilst I was pondering on which products to get I heard that Yes to Carrots are launching a new anti-ageing range called Yes to Blueberries.. wow, how many times have I said the word ‘yes’ already! I was given the Smoothing Daily Cleanser to try out. It’s made with apple and lemon peel and is paraben free like all of their products are.

Yes to Blueberries Smoothing Daily Cleanser

I’m not entirely sure how suitable this one is for my skin type. I may have a friend put it to the test for me as most anti-ageing products are too rich for my skin – I end up with a face full of spots. I have to say though that it smells great; more like essential oil and not a hint of blueberries. I was also expecting to see some blue product which would have been a little off-putting for me personally – but no, it’s white.

Here is a little look at the entire Yes to Blueberries range….

It will be on sale in Ireland early next year in the usual pharmacies.

When I start to worry less about spots and more about wrinkles I’m glad that there are natural, paraben free products out there to choose from.

What are your thoughts on Yes to Carrots as a brand? Have you tried any of their products?

I am completely in love with this range, my skin has improved so much since using these products. I love yes to tomatoes facial mask, hand cream and facial lotion. I couldn’t find the yes to tomatoes body butter they were all sold out,but i picked up the yes to cucumbers body butter instead and even though i don’t have sensitive skin it is still free from parabens, petroleum and sls just lik the yes to tomatoes body butter which is brilliant.

Love this brand, I swear by their conditioner and shampoo, as well as the leave-in conditioner and bodybutter from the Yes to Cucumbers!-range. I also have the under-eye gel, but I’m not too keen on that, it doesn’t make a difference, I much prefer a good, rich cream to a gel anyways. I’m going to keep using this range because it is free of paraben, mineral oils and SLS and it is affordable. You should definately check out the bodybutter, it is such a soft, moisturizing, nice cream that just melts into your skin!

Hi Amy, I haven’t tried any of the Yes to Carrots brand, but if they did trial sizes I would try them. I have to worry – now- about keeping the wrinkles at bay, and I have skin that is also very sensitive and can breakout very easily.
For the last few months I have been using Dr Nick Lowes skincare after purchasing a trial size kit. I am now happily using the anti blemish day moisturiser, which keeps my skin matt and breakout free. Then in the evening I use the anti age night moisturiser, which helps to keep the wrinkles away.(also using the face serum too) It’s working for me up to now, but I always like to sample things before the -sometimes- huge investment of purchasing full sizes!

I completely agree Lyndsey – nothing worse then shelling out for a product only to find two days later that your skin hates it :)

They have the Yes to Carrots body butter (which I LOVE) in trial size at Target here in the States. You might find it wherever you get travel size items? That’s where it’s located in Target. I think it was a dollar or two for little tub of it. I definitely want to try the rest of the lines!
